After four years of major transformations, the Hotel de Crillon reopens in Paris. A classic hotel in the city, it opens its doors in July this year. On the 5th, the historic hotel built in 1758 by King Louis XV, will inaugurate its 124 suite rooms and three lounges. A true work of art.
Hotel de Crillon reopens in Paris in July
With a privileged location on Place de la Concorde, close to the Louvre Museum, the hotel was designed by French architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel. Among the new features are the spa, swimming pool and hairdresser.
The restaurants
French cuisine will be led by chef Christopher Hache, who has worked in several starred restaurants, now with Justin Schmitt, who runs the brasserie, and Jérôme Chaucesse, in the pastry shop. Just a strong team.
The rooms
Among the designers responsible for the renovation is stylist Karl Lagerfeld – who designed three suites – pure luxury. The team also includes Richard Martinet, Aline d’Amman, Tristan Auer, Chahan Minassian and Cyril Vergniol. Renowned landscaper Louis Benech, who has worked on the beautiful Tuileries garden and at the Palace of Versailles, he designed the hotel’s external areas.
A Rosewood Hotel
The Hotel de Crillon in Paris is part of the Rosewood Hotéis brand, which brings together hotels and resorts around the world. And we who are fans of the brand have already stayed in some of its hotels, such as Jumby Bay, in Antigua, in the Caribbean, a private island with 40 private suites. The chain will also open its first Rosewood Hotel in Latin America, in São Paulo.
We have also stayed at Las Ventanas, in Los Cabos and at The Carlyle, a traditional hotel in New York.
