1 – Check the information on the label
Before washing any item of clothing, whether white or colored, read the label.
They have all the necessary instructions for preserving the item, washing instructions, how it should be dried, and whether or not the product can be ironed, and if so, at what temperature.

2 – Pre Wash
Before washing your white clothes, the ideal is to let them soak. Check out two homemade recipes that work.
You probably have all the ingredients listed here at home.
• Soaking option 1: hot water + washing powder + baking soda
• Sauce option 2: hot water + salt + baking soda
In both recipes, baking soda is present, it is a type of detergent that helps to eliminate not only stains, but also to dilute grease.
Hot water helps to enhance the action of the other components, as it softens the fabric fibers and, therefore, dirt is removed more easily.
Although vinegar is not in any of the two recipes above, you can use it in pre-washing or washing, because it helps to whiten clothes, serves as a softener and also removes odors.
The important thing about pre-washing is to be able to remove all the stains that the product may have before going into the washing machine along with other items of clothing.

3 – See how to choose the bleach to make your clothes look as white as they left the store again
The bleach you choose should never contain chlorine.
Chlorine, as we know, is great for removing stains, but it is mainly responsible for leaving the fabric yellow and worn.
In this regard, choose oxygenated products.
To bleach white clothes, you can choose to leave them in the sun.
Before exposing them, apply coconut or neutral soap.
This practice should be carried out in moderation, as the sun can damage the fabric fibers, as can boiling water above the ideal temperature.

4 – Use of fabric softeners
Be aware that excessive use of fabric softener can cause stains on the fabric, as residues of the product accumulate on the clothes.

They include aspirin dissolved in hot water, toothpaste with baking soda, rubbing clothes with salt (it absorbs the stain’s moisture and removes some of its color while in a liquid state), lemon juice and others.
Toothpaste is a great solution for clothes, as well as for sneakers, especially those with white rubber on the sides, like the All Star models.
