A rainy afternoon (the deluge has arrived here) calls for a house smelling like homemade biscuits. This recipe is very simple, but the result is delicious! And hey, it has hazelnut cream filling. Is it good for you?
Ingredients:
100g (or 1/2 stick) unsalted butter at room temperature
1/4 cup (tea) sugar
1 and 1/3 cups (tea) of wheat flour
2 tablespoons of chocolate powder
*Note: the cup I used is 130ml
Mix everything until it becomes a very smooth dough. Place in the fridge for 15 minutes to make it more consistent, as the heat from your hands melts the butter and makes the dough very soft.
Shape the cookies (I roll them into balls, place them on the baking tray, flatten them with my fingertips until I get a very thin disc and then make the lines by pressing a fork).
Those who don’t have so much modeling skills have a great trick –> here.
Bake in a preheated oven (I learned today that it is now spelled like this) at 200º for 10 minutes or until lightly golden.

When they come out of the oven, the cookies will still be soft, leave them on the baking sheet for 3 minutes and remove them carefully, once cold they will be very crispy. Then just fill it with that “Dog’s work” call Nutella and die of love!
* Yields 18 filled cookies (i.e. 36 cookies without filling).
