Mixing apple cider vinegar and baby oil can form a powerful protective layer capable of preventing and removing scratches from the stove.

How to remove scratches from the stove and other stainless steel surfaces:

Youre gonna need it:

  • 1 piece of very fine sandpaper (can be #400)
  • Apple vinegar
  • baby oil
  • Bicarbonate Mousse Paste
  • 2 soft cloths.

Procedure:

  • First remove all the grease from the stove, and dry it. This way you will be able to see better to remove scratches from the stove.

Prepare the apple cider vinegar and baby oil mixture.

  • In a bottle (750ml) of vinegar, add three teaspoons of oil. Use a bottle with a spray nozzle.
  • Shake well.
  • Spray the mixture on the area, rubbing with sandpaper, always in back and forth movements… never in circles. Don’t leave the area without the mixture while you scrub, it will lubricate it while you sand it.
  • Wipe away residue with a damp cloth. If necessary, sand again. The visible scratch will disappear, and only a few sandpaper marks will remain… soft scratches.
  • Using the soft side of the sponge, apply the Bicarbonate Mousse Paste. Do the same along the entire length of the stove. It will remove sandpaper marks, other stains and shine the stainless steel.
  • Remove all excess with a very clean, soft cloth.
  • Wipe with a damp cloth to dry.
  • To finish, and leave the stove with a protective film against grease and marks, and further accentuate the shine of the stainless steel, spray the mixture you prepared, spreading it with a well-wrung out damp cloth… almost dry.
    Polish with another dry cloth and that’s it! Now you know how to remove scratches from the stove easily.
