  • 2 cloves of garlic, well crushed;
  • 1 bunch of coriander;
  • 1 seedless chili pepper;
  • Juice of 1 large lemon;
  • Extra virgin olive oil;
  • Salt to taste.

How to prepare guacamole

  1. First, with a fork, mash the whole avocado well;
  2. Then, add the crushed garlic, lemon juice, salt and olive oil;
  3. Mix well until the mixture forms a puree;
  4. Then, chop the onion, tomato and coriander;
  5. Do the same with the pepper, chopping it into very small pieces;
  6. Finally, add the chopped ingredients to the avocado puree and mix;
  7. Ready, now just serve with your favorite accompaniment.

Tips

  1. To preserve the avocado and prevent the guacamole from darkening, place the avocado pit in the center of the bowl along with the guacamole.
  2. One tip to make your dish perfect is knowing how to choose the avocado well. To do this, press the skin, if it is soft it means the avocado is at the right point.
  3. Avoid using avocados that are too ripe or too green, as if they are too ripe the guacamole will darken faster. And if the avocado is very green, the guacamole will taste bitter.
  4. As avocado is a very fresh ingredient, ideally the guacamole should be consumed within two hours of preparation. Furthermore, it must not be in contact with air so that it does not harden.
  5. Finally, this recipe goes great with sandwiches or accompanied by doritos, which replace traditional nachos. In addition to sour cream, corn tortillas or banana chips, as well as accompaniment to fish, chicken, hamburgers, fries, tapioca, among others.
