Ground Beef Medallion – Panelaterapia

Ground Beef Medallion

Meat

Very simple ingredients can turn into a luxurious recipe, colleagues! Look at this medallion to prove what I’m saying. Seasoned ground beef, wrapped in bacon and roasted. Beautiful and delicious!

To make 10 medallions:

– 1 k of ground meat (I used duckling);

– 1/2 onion, finely chopped;

– 1 tablespoon of crushed garlic;

– 1 French bread crumb left to soften for 5 minutes in a little milk;

– 1 ovo;

– 1 envelope of powdered meat broth;

– salt, black pepper and green scent according to your taste.

Mix everything until it’s very homogeneous. To check if the salt is good, heat a non-stick frying pan and grill a small ball of the seasoned meat. Taste and add salt if necessary.

To make the medallions, shape them in your hand, roll up slices of bacon (I needed two slices for each medallion) and tie with a string.

Bake in a preheated oven at 220º until golden. You can turn them if you feel necessary. I like to line the baking tray with aluminum foil just to make cleaning easier. If you use this technique, don’t forget to brush plenty of olive oil or oil over the aluminum so it doesn’t stick to the meat.

* If you want to be even more wicked, stuff the medallions with cheese! Pure sin!
