For those trying to lead a healthier life, with a light, fat-free diet, commemorative dates are always an ordeal. In the case of Easter, for example, it’s very difficult for us to be completely free from a little chocolate, no matter how tiny it may be, isn’t it?

As no one is made of iron and doesn’t need to feel like anything in this life, we’re going to present a functional Easter egg recipe, perfect for those who want to enjoy Easter without losing track. The best of all is that, in addition to the dark chocolate in the cone, the functional Easter egg also includes a beautiful banana biomass brigadeiro. Can you believe?

As you will see throughout the recipe, the preparation process is very simple and quick. The recipe, in fact, is from patissier chef Carolina Sales, who developed a lighter version of traditional eggs for the Fitness public.

The best news is that, in addition to satisfying your desire to eat Easter eggs, this recipe can be much cheaper than if you bought a ready-made Fit egg. Interesting, right? So pay attention to the list of ingredients, necessary materials and get to work!

Learn how to make a functional Easter egg with biomass brigadeiro filling:

What takes?

500g semi-sweet chocolate topping;
3 cans of light condensed milk;
150g of green banana biomass;
6 tablespoons of alkaline cocoa powder;
Cranberries,
Poo nibs.

How to make?

1. Eggshell

The first thing to do is melt the dark chocolate in the microwave. You must stop the cooking process every 30 seconds to stir, until everything is properly melted.

Then, just put the chocolate in the egg molds and let it rest for 10 minutes, more or less. Then, put the chocolate in the fridge until the shape starts to turn white and the eggshell starts to come away. Then it’s time to unmold and place the egg, concave side up, on a sheet of baking paper.

2. Brigadier

For the filling, make a brigadeiro with condensed milk, cocoa and banana biomass. Place all the ingredients in a pan and stir well until they are well mixed.

Then bring to a boil and let it thicken over medium heat. As soon as it reaches the point of a spoonful of brigadeiro, turn off the heat and remove the mixture from the pan to cool and rest on a porcelain plate.

Now, if you have problems with lactose or want an even lighter version of the brigadeiro, this other banana biomass brigadeiro recipe, which we have already shown here, may be a better option. As you’ve already seen, it doesn’t require light condensed milk.

3. Assembly

With the previous two steps completed, all that’s left now is to assemble the functional Easter egg. But, before you get down to business, literally, put on your silicone gloves. This will avoid leaving fingerprint marks on the eggshells.

Once this is done, use half of the biomass brigadeiro (about 120g) in each of the egg halves. Then, cover the filling with the rest of the melted chocolate, until no part of the filling is visible.

Now just decorate with cranberry nibs… and, of course, devour!

It made your mouth water, right? Us too! If you make the functional Easter egg recipe, be sure to tell us how it tasted and if it was easy to make.
