On the 8th and 9th of October, the neighborhoods of Gávea and Jardim Botânico will host the Festival LivMundi, no Rio. The event will have an intense program with free activities about sustainability. There will be lectures, yoga classes, an organic food fair, cooking workshops and games for children. The objective of LivMundi is to encourage a healthier and more sustainable life with simple gestures.
Event locations
The activities will take place in the Botanical Garden (Espaço Organismo Vivo), Praça Santos Dumont (Espaço Terra), Espaço Nirvana (Espaço Ar) and Laje (Espaço Fogo). All these locations will be interconnected, with the Botanical Gardens being the meeting point.
The idea is to facilitate mobility and make the public festival walk around the spaces.

LivMundi Programming
The agenda will be full, with options for all tastes! On the 8th, the economist and President of Jardim Botânico, Sergio Besserman, will open the series of lectures at the Tom Jobim Theater. Other guests who will give lectures, such as Daniel Becker, will be mediated by PUC-RIO professor and presenter of the Sobre Rochas program, Marcelo Motta. Remembering that registrations are made through site and have limited spaces.
At Praça Santos Dumont, in Gávea, producers from the Junta Local gastronomic fair will meet with the Organic Fair Circuit. For children, sensory activity and home garden workshop. On the 9th, at 9:30am, the Maniva Institute will offer a tapioca workshop for the children. At the Nirvana space, free classes such as ashtanga, vinyasa, solo pilates and meditation (registration at site).
