Lion Beach

With a very blue sea, the beach is full of sea turtles that walk along the sea slopes. The Tamar Project is consolidated on this same beach, when the turtles take their first swim in the sea between the months of April and June. This beauty can be admired by tourists who are on the beach at the time. It is ideal for those who prefer quieter beaches. The place is home to countless bird nests that complete the scene.

Cacimba do Padre Beach

Famous for its length of almost 1 km, the beach is home to one of Noronha’s best-known tourist attractions: Morro Dois Irmãos. In the middle of the sea, you can see the two hills side by side. In the hottest seasons, the crystalline wave can reach five meters.

Baía dos Porcos Beach

This beach requires a little more energy, as it is only accessible on foot after a 15-minute walk from Cacimba do Padre. The beach is more deserted than the others and the large rocks around it form natural pools.

Sancho Beach

This beach is unanimously considered the most beautiful in Brazil. There you can see coral banks and its transparent waters are the best for snorkeling. Access requires attention, as it is made from a cliff that runs along a staircase embedded in the rock to the soft sand. But the view is worth it.

Santo Antônio Bay

This beach has the distinction of housing a Greek vessel that was sunk in 1930 and the ruins of the Fort of Santo Antônio.

Meio Beach

It is one of the smallest in Noronha and precisely for this reason it has calm waters ideal for resting. It is between the beaches of Cachorro and Conceição.

Conceição Beach

This beach has calm seas and easy access. It has the most beautiful sunsets and is a haven for sportspeople who practice racquetball and surfing in the summer. Next to it is Morro de Fora with delicious swimming pools.

Dog Beach

It is one of the busiest beaches as it is close to Vila dos Remédios. The place has a beautiful freshwater spring. Around the kiosks there are snacks, a variety of drinks and even snorkel rentals for those who want to go diving.

Boldró Beach

This beach is one of the main ones when it comes to surfing. The five meter wave allows for good surfing. Its waters have intense marine life. A restaurant on the beach serves tourists with tasty seafood and cold beer.

Bode Beach

Through the rocks it is possible to step onto Bode beach with clear waters and white sand, where tours depart to other more popular beaches.

Atalaia Beach

The dark rocks on the seafront refer to the island’s volcanic origins. It houses Morro do Frade, which is right in the middle of the sea. It is ideal for observing the fish that swim in the shallow pools that are formed. The beach is controlled by Ibama and only receives small groups at a time.

On this beach, the difference is in the view, as diving is prohibited due to the danger of descending among the rocks.

Southeast Bay

Caieira Cove

Access to this beach is complicated, but it is rewarding due to the beautiful dunes formed around the pools. Despite its beauty, the beach is not very suitable for swimming, as sharks swim there constantly.

Raquel’s Hole

Large rocks and greenish natural pools are the setting for Buraco da Raquel. It is allowed to enjoy the view there, but diving is prohibited as it is an environmental preservation area.

Air France tip

The name originates from the installation by the French of a base to support flights over the Atlantic Ocean. The look unites the sea inside with the sea outside. The beach is not recommended for swimming.
