  1. Instant pot hit burn setting not only once but twice even with extra olive oil after I cleaned it and started again. Good recipe though

  2. I followed this recipe as sisters were talking and my IP never came to pressure. I never got a burn notice but once I emptied the contents into a baking dish, I saw the burned rice on bottom and I am finishing in oven. If I have to eat dry chicken, I will because I am not wasting expensive food! I’ve made other recipes from this site and they turned out great so not sure what happened on this one. Maybe I need a new IP.

  3. Well I want to share. My wife always gets nervous when I cook. I forwarded this video to her .. She told me have at it. The flavor is good but rice wasn't soft. I'm doing 3 minute cycles until it gets where I want it. Thank you for putting the content out.

  4. After spending $20 in ingredients, this recipe did NOT work and for clearly obvious reasons I now understand in hindsight. The girls did not even follow their own recipe when making this “dump and go” which is more like a dump in the trash when its done recipe. Because of this I will never trust this channel again. That is what lying gets you girls…a bad reputation. I wouldn’t buy your books or trust anything you say from now on.

  5. I wish I can get my instant pot to stop "Burn". It happens half the time now. It is useless to me and now it is taking up my counter space. Your recipes look so good. But not in my pot..

  6. Okay, I got the recipe, the time, the Instant Pot. All I need is some cheese(s), some creamy chicken soup, and a bag of frozen veggies.
What I'm going to do, however, is switch it up a little. I realize you want the fawn in the pot, but it's so awkward, and slow to saute in the pot, I'll do it outside, in my 14" pan that can hold darn near everything. THEN I'll put it into the pot. Also, I'll probably season the chicken before I put it in the pan. I've got some nice creole seasoning that would go well in this. I'll make it tomorrow, and let you know how it goes.

  7. I am a new instant pot user and tried this yesterday. I also tried your teriyaki chicken. Both times the rice burned on the bottom of the instant pot. I added the same amount of broth as rice and added a little extra water so not sure why my rice is burning. (I was given a instant pot duo mini)

  8. I’ve tried to make this meal 2 different times. Both times I got the burn alert. I even emptied the pot out cleaned it throughly and got the burn noticed again. I used plenty of liquid. Please help, we love this recipe but that burn apart is soo frustrating!

  9. I made your recipe I used cooked chicken and already cooked rice and used the frozen veggies I didnt have a can of cream of chicken soup so I used a jar of creamy garlic alfredo sauce and cooked it about the same time I also topped it with toasted bread crumbs and served with a cheesy garlic bread. it was perfect.

  10. I just made this ❤ Greetings from Pennsylvania USA 🇺🇸 This was absolutely delicious & I'm going to freeze 1/2 9f it for a future meal ❤ Thank you it's delicious 😋

  11. This is the first thing I ever cooked in my Instant Pot in December of 2020. Now I must have used the IP 250+ times and tried about 20 different recipes. Cooking is now a part of my routine. Thanks, Six Sisters’ Stuff.

  12. Some know some people don’t know that all shredded cheese is separated by extremely small pieces of sawdust. Do your own homework look it up don’t believe in what I say without doing your own homework

  13. Saute your onion in oil FIRST so that it's caramelized, before adding the chicken. Add garlic just before adding your liquid, otherwise it burns. Once you add the garlic, the minute you begin to smell it… usually 30 seconds or less, ADD your liquid to capture the garlic flavor and smell, otherwise you will lose it and your kitchen will smell…. not your dish! It is the scent that helps add the flavor you want… ask any professional chef!

  14. Say it with me…. BUT-TON.. 😳🙄 We know you can say it correctly, we’ve heard u do it.. Aside from this i love yr content. 🌸

  15. I found the recipe to be easy. I have digestive issues and know from the American Cancer Society, not to use corn or peas, even canned. They can be very hard on you after eating them. I substituted sliced carrots, green beans and cut wax beans instead, rinsed and no liquid from the cans. Quite good with too much starch from rice it was very thick. I will experiment today. I should of rinsed the rice to remove some of the starch. I just need to thin it out keeping the flavor
You have helped me love my 6&8 quart Duo Crisp pots thank you.

  16. I've Been trying to make this recipe for 3 hours now, constantly getting the burn notice. I'm finally giving up, draining my water, adding my cheese, and hoping this is edible. I think this would work better if you added everything but the rice, gave it a good stir, then added the rice LAST, didn't stir (but made sure the rice was submerged) then pressure cooked it. If I ever attempt this recipe again, that is the way I will try it. But for an instant pot beginner, this recipe was a nightmare.

  17. Kristen & Camel I've made this twice and for some reason my rice doesn't get done. The first time I used white rice it didn't get done I added some more broth and it stuck so I got my 1st burn notice. Tonight I used brown rice because thats all I had cooked it for 10 min it still didn't get done added a cup of broth cooked for 8 more minutes was still wasn't completely done but my dogs and I ate it anyway. I love my instant pot I use it everynight. I'll continue to watch from South Carolina❤
