The cold and desert kingdom of post-trip refrigerator it was inhabited only by a can of cherry tomatoes, 1 small package of chopped bacon and some capers. They went into the pan with garlic, dehydrated onion (because there wasn’t any fresh), pepper, olive oil, some seasonings, a touch of creativity, a lot of hunger and a cook eager to get her hands dirty after 15 days of abstinence. The result was better than expected, considering the perrengue lack of ingredients:

I sautéed in the order: bacon, chopped garlic, dehydrated onion, capers and half a can of tomatoes. I added the rice and added (as the rice dried) the vegetable broth, prepared with 800ml of boiling water and 2 tablets of industrialized broth. I seasoned it with pepper, little bit of salt, oregano and at the end a handful of grated parmesan.
As I had little Parmesan, I added cubes of Camembert on top and browned it with a torch. Finally, I drizzled it with olive oil.
– But, Tati, does Camembert go well?
– It’s the poetic license of the empty refrigerator, colleague! I don’t know if it fits, but it was really cool!
