One of my favorite things about this Air Fryer Salmon with Bok Choy recipe is that it is cooked in one pan. The only thing you'll need to clean after dinner is the air fryer basket and your dishes.

That's why I value my air fryer so much, because in addition to making beautiful food and recipes, it also makes cleaning so much easier.

Make sure you don't shove the Bok Choy and mushrooms in with the salmon all the time. I noticed this in the recipe, but wanted to make sure you saw it here. Your vegetables will only need to cook for about 6 minutes in the air fryer because any longer than that they will become overcooked and turn to mush.

Can you make salmon in an air fryer?

Not only can you make salmon in the air fryer, but it's my favorite way to do it.

How to make salmon in the air fryer:

  1. In a bowl, combine the garlic, ginger, orange zest and juice, soy sauce, vinegar, vegetable oil and salt. Remove half of the marinade and set aside.
  2. Place the salmon in a gallon-sized sealable bag. Pour the remaining half of the marinade over the salmon. Seal and massage to coat. Leave to marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  3. Place the salmon in the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 400°F for 12 minutes.
  4. Brush bok choy and mushroom caps with sesame oil and season lightly with salt. After 6 minutes of cooking time, add the vegetables around the salmon in the air fryer basket. Continue cooking for the remaining 6 minutes.
  5. Drizzle the salmon with some of the reserved marinade and sprinkle the vegetables with sesame seeds to serve.
