EAST, Miami – Luxury Hotel in Brickell

News

In one of my recent visits to Miami, I had the opportunity to stay at EAST, Miami, a luxury hotel in Brickell, the city’s financial center. Opened in 2016, it integrates with the lifestyle from the Brickell region, as it is very modern and technological. Furthermore, the hotel is part of the Brickell City Center, a true luxury complex with an investment of US$1 billion and offers shops, restaurants, cinemas, residences and offices. The Uruguayan restaurant is delicious and the pool is stunning! To top it off, EAST is in the Preffered Hotels portfolio.

Location

The Brickell region is currently the most modern area of Miami, where it has a New York feel with its countless skyscrapers. There are also many new restaurants, making it ideal for those who don’t want to be close to the beach. The hotel is located above the Brickell City Center shopping center, with access via a direct elevator. In other words, perfect for us Brazilians who love a little shopping. A part of the shopping mall that I also really like is La Centrale, an Italian gastronomic market.

It is 20 minutes from Miami International Airport, 2 kilometers from the American Airlines Arena and 15 minutes by car from the Port of Miami. Furthermore, it is within easy reach of trendy neighborhoods such as Wynwood, Design District and South Beach.

I stayed in a room on the 32nd floor. All apartments have floor-to-ceiling windows and give the true impression of walking above the Miami sky. The balcony, also entirely made of glass, is a real litmus test for those who are afraid of heights. But it’s certainly worth tackling it to enjoy a cinematic view.

The rooms, with contemporary decor, range from 28 to 136m². They have a bed king size, armchair, desk, minibar, coffee and tea maker, mini bar, Wi-Fi, bathrobes and all lighting control is done via an iPad. Like mine, the bathroom also had a view of the city, with a separate bathtub and shower, as well as exclusive amenities.
