Dubai’s most famous hotel

As soon as I arrived at Dubai airport and picked up my bag, I went straight to the Atlantis stand, where my transfer was already waiting for us! The car was super comfortable, with Wi-Fi, and dropped me off at the door of the most famous hotel in Dubai. The iconic central arch welcomes us surrounded by gardens and water fountains.

As soon as I entered the lobby of Atlantis The Palm, I came across a sculpture, which is certainly one of the resort’s most impressive features, a grandiose work of art and design. It is made of blown glass in various shapes and vibrant colors. More than 10 meters tall, it incorporates marine themes and elements reminiscent of underwater life. It is a beautiful artistic representation that immediately catches the attention of anyone passing by.

In addition to the main sculpture, Atlantis The Palm’s lobby also features other elaborate artwork and decorations, such as extravagant chandeliers and stunning architectural details. The space is a true visual spectacle, combining modern and thematic elements inspired by the history and mythology of Atlantis.

The Atlantis complex also has a small shopping mall, which includes everything from luxury brands such as Tiffany&Co and Balmain, to pharmacies, toy stores and larger chains such as Bath and Body Works.

Atlantis the Palm Accommodations

In total, Atlantis The Palm has more than 1500 comfortable rooms and suites, which have been renovated, some with stunning views and all very well equipped. With a contemporary and elegant design, inspired by the ocean, the room had a comfortable king size bed, TV, minibar with coffee maker, armchair and several sockets and USB next to the bed, I love it! The bathroom had a separate bathtub, overlooking the bedroom. In fact, what a view, just waking up every day with this view of the sea makes us feel good!

Guests staying in Ocean or Palm suites and rooms, in fact, are entitled to some benefits at the resort, such as free transfer from the airport, already mentioned, and free access to the Imperial Club Lounge. Open all day, it offers everything from breakfast to afternoon tea and happy hour. In other words, you can have a coffee more calmly, eat something between meals or have a drink before dinner.

Beach or pool?

Dubai’s most famous hotel has two swimming pools. The most famous of these is the Royal Pool, which offers a lagoon-style environment, and there is also the Zero Entry Pool, with shallower parts and sun loungers. In addition, there are 2 km of beach with calm and transparent water, as well as a beach club for guests to relax in comfort. Of course, there is also the renowned AWAKEN Spa, with various treatments, and a well-equipped gym.

In fact, there is no shortage of attractions at Dubai’s most famous hotel for all tastes and ages. One of the main ones is Aquaventure Waterpark, the largest water park in the world, where visitors can enjoy exciting slides, lazy rivers, artificial wave pools and encounters with marine animals, such as dolphins and stingrays.

The Lost Chambers is a large aquarium, with around 65 thousand marine animals, and information about different species of fish. The Ambassador Lagoon, for example, has 11 million liters and a variety of sharks, rays and colorful fish. Entry is free for guests.

Furthermore, those who want to be more adventurous can also take a beautiful balloon ride offered by the hotel and enjoy the surprising view seen from Jumeirah. Remembering that the water park, aquarium and restaurants are open to visitors, just make a reservation.

Gordom Ramsay’s Bread Street, a restaurant by famous chef Gordom Ramsay’s, is inspired by the original atmosphere of the London warehouse. The menu features a modern take on British classics, such as fish and chips in craft beer batter and beef Wellington. Meanwhile, En Fuego offers Latin cuisine in a lively and colorful atmosphere, complete with a DJ and artistic performances.

Meanwhile, breakfast is served in two restaurants: Kaleidoscope and Saffron, the latter specializing in Southeast Asian, Indian and seafood buffets. There are several stations for bread, cold cuts, eggs, and so on!
