Created in 2010 in Los Angeles, Drybar is a new salon concept in California, where only brushes are made (which in the USA are called blow outs). In other words, no dyes, cuts and much less manicures. The price is US$40 and the entire “salon” has a “bar” feel, both in the decoration and in the “menu” – where different ways of brushing your hair are offered – even in the display of the products sold in each unit.

When I was in Los Angeles recently, I decided to try it for the first time and I loved it! I was well looked after and I was pleased with the result! Plus, the place is cute. I went to the store on Avenida Montana, a super cool street in Santa Monica, which is worth exploring in full, in fact.

Currently, one hundred thousand women are served per month, by 2 thousand employees, in the 30 Drybar units around the USA: California, Texas, Arizona, New York, Massachusetts, Georgia and Washington DC and Miami, a unit that has just been opened in Brickell City Center, the newest luxury complex in Miami.
