I made chicken esfirras, but that’s just a detail because this dough is suitable for any savory baked goods, including rolled bread. It’s very soft, tasty and best of all, it’s very easy to make.
Oh, and you know that “soap opera” of kneading dough, letting it rise, rolling the snacks, letting it rise again… forget it! Just mix the dough ingredients, make the snacks and bake! I got this recipe from the late Orkut community “Cooking – Recipes”.
For mass:
100ml of warm water
50ml of oil
1 tablespoon of sugar
1/2 tablespoon of salt
1 tablespoon of dry organic yeast (not cake yeast, but bread yeast)
2 cups (240ml) wheat flour
Mix: the oil, sugar, salt and yeast, add the warm water, then the wheat flour little by little, with your fingertips, you don’t need to knead a lot, just smooth the dough. Make whatever snacks you prefer, brush on egg yolk and bake.

* UPDATE Having made this recipe countless times, I realized that it worked better with less water, so I reduced the amount in the recipe and consequently adapted the other ingredients.
