  1. AB, an easy way to remove the fat without soaking up any of the other liquid is to use a chunk of ice. The fat will harden on the ice leaving the other liquid behind. That looked delicious.

  3. I like the idea of putting the noodles in, may not present as well, but if the noodles are a little under done they would absorb that sauce and taste great!!

  4. I used Gravey Blade steak and didn't get a nice sear. I put it in the slow cooker instead of on a stove pan. But I added potatoes, carrots, celery and garlic and a tin of tomatoes 6 hours in. My brother had my car so he brought a tin home. Seasoned with some Lemon / herb salt and some white pepper and a small amount of Keens Curry Powder. I will admit though.. It was amazing. The Gravy beef after 5 hours on high then 3 hours on low in the slow cooker the meat was PERFECT. It just broke apart eating it with the other vegetables. The slow cooking with the cheap tough meat is just perfect. I can chuck it all in, go to work and once I am home just taste and season if it needs. Dinner done for the family. I am going to try this beef ragu 2 days from now.

  5. do you wash your knife and cutting board before cutting the vegetables? You seared your beef and then cut up the veggies unless your changing your gloves and cleaning off camera your contamining your ingredients….
