Pabllo Vittar is a Brazilian singer and Drag Queen. She was born on November 1, 1993, in São Luís, Maranhão. However, she spent her childhood and adolescence in the interior of Maranhão and Pará, moving to several cities.
Her birth name is Phabullo Rodrigues da Silva, and she is the daughter of Verônica, a nurse. However, she never got to meet her father. She has a twin sister named Phamella, and another sister who is one year older named Pollyana.
Its success has brought a lot of visibility to other drag artists, as well as trans and transvestite artists. Furthermore, she is well known for her activism in favor of the rights of LGBTQIA+ people.

“It was a surprise, I didn’t know this side of drag. I was in love! I said: I can be that. It was a liberation. When I’m stressed, I put myself together and externalize things that I can’t say, but that I can convey through makeup and production.” – stated the artist.

Plabo Vittar learned how to apply makeup by watching tutorials on YouTube, and even participated in several beauty contests before her musical career.
And, he set up for the first time at the age of 17, to publicize a friend’s party, delivering flyers to the door of a nightclub in Uberlândia.
In 2018, she took 13th place as “The Sexiest Woman of the Year”, in an election carried out by IstoÉ magazine. And, in 2020, she won the “Man of the Year” award, given by GQ Brasil magazine.
The beginning of the career
It was in 2015 that Pabllo Vittar’s career began to take off. Since, it was when Rodrigo Gorky was introduced to Pabllo Vittar by another member of the Bonde do Rolê group, Pedro D’Eyrot, who spoke to Pabllo on social media.
Given this, Gorky suggested that Pabllo record a reinterpretation in Portuguese of the song “Lean On”, by the group Major Lazer. Therefore, this Portuguese version was titled “Open Bar”, being launched in October 2015.
Interestingly, this music video was recorded at a friend’s house, with a budget of just 600 reais. He later reached the one million views mark on YouTube in less than 4 months.
