Jemaa El-Fna Square
Jemaa el-Fna square is a must-see in Marrakech. The real show starts at dusk. That’s when the dancers from Gnaoua appear, and the acrobats from Amizmiz come to perform their human pyramids and their spectacular dervish pirouettes, to entertain the spectators gathered there.
The square becomes a monumental theater stage, where each actor performs in the center of a circle formed by spectators. The Morocco package from most travel agencies includes a visit to Jemaa El Fna square.

The secret Garden
The Secret Garden is located in the Mouassine neighborhood of the Medina of Marrakech, close to the Madersa Ben Youssef and the Mouassine mosque.
The garden is a complex of two gardens, several buildings and one of the tallest towers in the Medina. You can enjoy the calm, the lush vegetation, come there to have a tea or a coffee or even benefit from the Turkish bath.
400 years old, the monument testifies to the splendor of Moroccan architectural art and offers splendid green spaces divided into two worlds: the “Exotic Garden”, where different plants from different parts of the world coexist and a second space called the “Islamic Garden”, inspired by description of paradise mentioned in the Quran.
The Bahia Palace
It is one of the masterpieces of Moroccan architecture, one of the main monuments of the country’s cultural heritage and one of the main tourist sites in Morocco.
The palace is open for visits, concerts and Arab-Andalusian music and art exhibitions.
The palace is spread over 8 hectares and houses 150 rooms overlooking different courtyards and gardens. Dating back to the 19th century and spread over no less than eight hectares.
The most interesting part of the Bahia Palace is the harem of 4 wives and 24 concubines of Abu Bou Ahmed. It is without a doubt one of the most notable works in Marrakech, and is worth a visit. It has a Moorish and Islamic style, and will definitely enchant you with its architecture and gardens.
Yves Saint Laurent Museum Marrakeech
Inside, a part of the Pierre Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent Foundation collection, which includes haute couture clothing and accessories as well as various designs and objects, is displayed in a 400 m2 permanent exhibition area.
This museum exhibits the first black tuxedos, the Bougainvillier cape inspired by the Majorelle garden, the embroidered Van Gogh jackets, the famous Mondrian dress; To better appreciate these wonders, the visitor is immersed in the dark and guided by an original scenography designed by Christophe Martin.
The building also houses a 150 m2 temporary exhibition room, a 130-seat auditorium, a bookstore, a café-restaurant with a terrace and a research library.
It includes around 5,000 works dedicated to the work of Yves Saint Laurent and fashion, but also to Arab-Andalusian literature, poetry, history and geography, botany and Berber culture.
Anima Garden
The paradisiacal garden by universal artist André Heller proposes a new and magnificent curiosity near the city of Marrakech.

The Koutoubia Mosque
One of the most emblematic mosques in Morocco. Its architecture is representative of the art of the Almohads.
Its minaret is 69 meters high, has 17 naves and its external decoration is very sober, despite the few ornaments. The minaret – topped by three golden copper balls, is also the most decorated feature of Koutoubia, and for good reason: the minaret was built later and was not as influenced by the austere Almohad architecture.
The building was completely restored in the spirit of the original plans in the 1990s, and its enormous minaret reappears today in all its beauty.
Madraça Ben Youssef
The Ben Youssef madrasa, one of the largest madrassas in the Maghreb, is one of the most striking historical monuments in Marrakech, and is undoubtedly worth a visit. The Madrasa gate first leads to a long closed corridor decorated with mosaics and carved beams, quite dark because it is lit only by spaced skylights.
The Madrasa is open every day from 9:30 am to 6 pm and only until 3 pm from April to September. It is closed on May 1st and on religious holidays. Entrance costs 40 Dhs per person.
The City of Fez
The imperial city is the capital of Morocco’s traditional culture. Cradles of knowledge, their superb madrassas are the extravagant symbol. This fortified city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will take you back to the Middle Ages.

Chefchaouen
A colorful city beneath the peaks of the Rif, Chefchaouen is one of Morocco’s most beautiful villages, an artsy, faded blue mountain village that feels like its own world. While tourism has definitely taken hold, the balance between ease and authenticity is impressive.
Chefchaouen is a small mountain town in the northeast of Morocco, with a very welcoming population, built at an altitude of 600 m at the foot of the Kelaa and Meggou mountains, which form Jebel chaouen, in the Rif mountain range.
Hassan II Mosque
Hassan II Mosque is a mosque located in Casablanca (Morocco). Built partly on the sea, it is a religious and cultural complex, built on nine hectares and includes a prayer room, ablution room, bathrooms, a Koranic school (madrasa), a library and a museum.
The prayer room can accommodate 25,000 worshipers, with a total area of 20,000 m2. And the terrace holds 80,000 worshipers (the complete set can accommodate 105,000 people).
The Hassan II Mosque is one of the largest mosques in the world and has a minaret with a height of 200 to 210 m, according to sources, the tallest in the world. Artisans recruited from every city in the kingdom had carved 53,000 m2 of wood and gathered over 10,000 m2 of zellige (pottery) for the place of worship.
