Devil’s Food Cake and An Irritadinho Post

Sweet cakes and pies

And here I am making the post!

But I need to confess: I hate making fancy cakes!!! I HATE!!!!! It will take a long time for me to forget that I am too clumsy for a recipe that has more than 3 steps, too lazy for a recipe that takes more than 1 hour to prepare and too messy to be able to cut the cake, fill and cover it without Make the kitchen look like a battlefield!

And let me tell you now that it was a hassle to make this cake! The dough is a bit “crumbly” which makes it almost impossible for a person like me, without the gift of confectionery, to cut the cake in half to fill. The ganache was hard because it’s colder outside than in the fridge and spreading it on top was WOW!!!!! But God is more! And in the end the “animal” had a GREAT face and a really good flavor!!!

This is the dough recipe –> here that of “Aunt Nigella”. If you skipped English class like me, go to Google and type “translator”, then copy and paste and pray you understand!

For the topping and filling, I decided to make a ganache using 250g of chopped semi-sweet chocolate and 200ml of cream. Just put the cream in a pan to boil, as soon as it makes the first bubble, turn off the heat, throw the chopped chocolate in and mix until it melts completely.

Did you realize that Devil’s food Cake + PMS + Person who doesn’t have the gift of making delicate, confectionary and elaborate food doesn’t work? But if you still want to take the risk, follow these instructions:

Choose a day when your bank account is in the black, when you looked in the mirror and thought you were beautiful, when you just came back from Yoga or Tai Chi Chuan and are feeling very zen, and if you don’t have one, hire a cleaning lady to clean it up afterwards. the chocolate that will even spread across the ceiling of the house, ok?
