Delicious Vegetarian Farofa – Panelaterapia

Delicious Vegetarian Farofa

Sauces and Salads

Vittadely, that brand of incredible healthy products, sent me 3 flavors of soy protein grains: onion and parsley, bacon and garlic. When I tasted it I couldn’t believe I was eating soy. In addition to the delicious flavor, it also has many benefits for our health! All the best!

I decided to make this recipe because I thought the crunchiness of these products would be delicious in a farofa, and I was right. What a delight people! It’s nothing like the traditional, fat-filled farofas that we eat at the end of the year. And besides being lighter and much healthier, those who don’t eat protein of animal origin can enjoy it!

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil;
  • ½ cup (tea) cooked carrot in cubes;
  • ½ cup (tea) green beans, chopped into slices and cooked;
  • ½ cup (tea) of cooked chopped zucchini;
  • 6 pieces of chopped apricots;
  • 2 tablespoons of black raisins;
  • 1 tablespoon of bacon-flavored soy protein grains;
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic-flavored soy protein grains;
  • 1 tablespoon of soy protein grains flavored with onion and parsley;
  • 2/3 cup (tea) toasted cassava flour;
  • Salt and black pepper to taste.

Saute the carrot, green beans, zucchini, apricot and raisins in olive oil. Add the soy protein grains in the three flavors and mix everything. Finally, add the flour and stir for 2 minutes so that it becomes very crunchy. Add salt and sprinkle black pepper.

It was really very delicious! If I ate it without knowing it was vegetarian, I wouldn’t even imagine, because the presence of bacon is really striking!

I won’t be without these soy protein grains anymore! I’m already imagining putting it on top of risottos and savory pies! Nhammm!!!
