Creamy Ham and Corn Pies

I start the post by saying that this is the best Pasta Podre in the world! You know that light dough that melts in your mouth? Perfect!!! I’ve already made several recipes with this dough here on the blog, but I’m always reminding you how good it is because it’s worth it! You can make chicken pie (see here), pie and quiche, like I did today.

Dough Ingredients:
3 cups of wheat flour
1/2 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
1/2 cup of oil
1/2 cup of milk
1 yolk
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon of salt

The way to make the dough is just mix everything! If it’s wet, add a little more flour, if it’s dry, a little more milk. It should be a uniform dough without sticking to your hands.

I’m going to owe exact amounts of the filling because as I had recently posted the chicken pie, I didn’t even make this recipe to become a post, but it was so wonderful that I thought I should post it.
I made the filling by mixing ham and cheese that I crushed in the processed food, green corn (from a can), a little cream and 2 eggs. Then I seasoned it with salt, pepper, parsley, etc. I added grated parmesan on top and baked it. I made one medium quiche and eight small ones (but still bigger than a pie). Make this dough, it’s sensational!
