And just when I thought I was going to pack the blankets, the cold came back with a vengeance! I would say that for me there is nothing good about winter if it weren’t for the fact that eating is much more enjoyable during this time of year. I made this soup the other day for dinner and it was amazing!

Quantity for 2 generous portions:

Place 6 chopped potatoes to cook in boiling water with 1 tablet of chicken broth. Meanwhile, sauté 1 cup of shredded chicken, 1 clove of chopped garlic, 1/2 cup of fresh peas, salt and pepper.

Remove the potatoes from the water when they are very soft and mash them, as if you were going to make a puree. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to add creaminess. Off the heat and slowly add the cooking water and stir until it reaches a light creamy point. Adjust the salt, if you want you can add some herbs of your choice.

When serving, add a portion of the chicken and pea stew to each portion.
