Corn Flour Cake with Guava – Panelaterapia

Corn Flour Cake with Guava

Sweet cakes and pies

This cake is an old acquaintance here at Panelaterapia. Since I tested the recipe in 2012, it has become a staple here at home, especially because my husband likes simple cakes, the kind without icing or filling, you know? But this time I wanted to try it with the guava topping and he approved too!

I already posted the recipe for the corn flour cake here, just go to:

I made a psychedelic “art” with the guava paste on the surface and it ended up looking really cool! I used homemade creamy guava paste, which I also gave the recipe for here:

You can buy regular guava paste, chop it into cubes and heat over low heat with a little water to melt it and of course, if you prefer, you can simply add the cubes to the dough.

Did you like my psychedelic cake?

PS: The blog’s comment system is bugged. But it is already being resolved. Get some cadim, okay?
