Condensed milk pudding is a simple dessert that is always a success. According to some records, the dessert appeared in Portugal in the 16th century. As a result of colonization, Brazilians became fond of sweets. Even though it has undergone adaptations, the base of this dessert remains the same.

And as the popular saying goes, anyone who doesn’t like pudding can’t be a good person.

The primary recipe obviously did not include condensed milk. The mixture was prepared from eggs, flour, sugar, milk and vanilla beans.

As a result of the success of the mixture, the pudding gained several versions. Even though the recipe with condensed milk is a big favorite. At the same time, you can find coconut pudding, chocolate, passion fruit, etc.

Condensed Milk Pudding recipe

You will need:

  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 can of milk (measured from the can of condensed milk)
  • 3 whole eggs

Hot:

  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 2 cups of water

How to make:

First of all, beat the eggs well in a blender. This will be important so that your pudding doesn’t smell like eggs. Then add the condensed milk and milk, and beat again.

Time to prepare broth:

Melt the sugar in the pan until it turns brown, add the water and let it thicken.

Place in a round shape and pour the pudding mixture on top.

Bake in a medium oven for 45 minutes, with the round pan inside a larger pan filled with water.

Stick a fork in to see if it is well cooked.

Let cool and unmold.
