Colomba Pie With Lemon Mousse

Easter is a time to celebrate with family! And family can be the traditional one, with parents, siblings, grandparents, it can be the work family, the family of friends, the important thing is to always be surrounded by the people we like, right?

And to make this celebration even more delicious, I created this dessert with Colomba Pascal Bauducco Crystallized Fruits, which is very soft and has real berries that are delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Colomba Pascal Bauducco Candied Fruit
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • Zest of the peel of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate shavings
  • 20 units of Bauducco Champagne biscuits cut to the height of the Colomba

Preparation:

Prepare the mousse by mixing the condensed milk, lemon juice and zest. Cut the lid off the Colomba Pascal Bauducco and remove part of the interior to make a cavity. Set aside half a cup (tea) of the mousse to use for the topping. Mix the “crumb” that was removed with the remaining lemon mousse. Fill the cavity and “cap” the Colomba again. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Place a Bauducco Champagne Biscuit around the Colomba to finish it off and use a ribbon to finish it off with a bow.

Spread the reserved mousse on top and cover with white chocolate shavings.
