Chocolate Chip Banana Bread – Panelaterapia

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Sweet cakes and pies

Or chocolate chip banana bread. Yesterday I went to Maura’s blog and found this incredible recipe. For me, an incredible recipe is the one that presents the best relationship between flavor and ease of preparation and this is a really good one! Do not use a blender or mixer! Simple thing to do in 10 minutes.

This bread (which is more like cake) is very fragrant, soft and the flavor is perfect! The only modifications I made was to use twice the indicated amount of yeast because I didn’t use bicarbonate (I didn’t have it at home) and I added a dessert spoon of cinnamon powder. Below is the text of the recipe taken from Maura’s blog:

“Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, melted (or very soft)
(100g) 1 cup (tea) granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 ripe bananas
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon of sa
l1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
1 cup chocolate chips

Way of doing:
Without the mixer. Turn on the oven at 180ºC. Mash the bananas, and mix the sugar, melted butter, vanilla, eggs, salt, baking soda, yeast and 1/3 of the wheat flour, stir well and mix everything very well. Add the rest of the flour and chocolate chips (leaving a little for the end) and mix everything carefully.
Place the dough in a greased English cake pan, place the rest of the chocolate chips on top and bake for approximately 45 minutes or until golden. (mine took more than 45 minutes) Wait a few minutes to unmold”.

Note* I greased and floured the pan in which I baked it.
