Mexican inspiration right there guys! I can already say that the recipe is completely “mine” in the sense that I made it on intuition, I didn’t look for traditional recipes, nor the origin of the recipe, nor any of those things that make me lazy, what I know is that this snack is delicious!!!
You can sauté your ground meat with whatever seasonings you like, I did mine like this:
I sautéed the sequence below in olive oil:
- 1/2 chopped onion;
- 2 cloves of chopped garlic;
- 1/4 chopped green pepper;
- 500g of ground meat;
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce;
- 1 tablespoon of pepper sauce;
- 1 envelope of powdered meat broth;
- 1 cup of cooked beans without broth (I used a box of the kind that only comes with beans and water);
- 1 package of tomato sauce (I used the sachet type).
- Parsley, salt and pepper to taste.
* I confess that it took me a while to accept these “beans” among the meat, but a combination so popular in some places couldn’t be bad, right? And it’s not!
Although I don’t think the appearance is the most photogenic!
After this mixture boils a little. Turn off the heat and serve with a spoonful of cheddar cheese on top, I used something like cream cheese, which is the only one I found, but it could be grated cheddar, or cheese.
The snack that comes with it is Doritos Nachos, but if you find another brand, give it a go!
If you like pepper, you can spice it up a little more, because I’m not one for the spicy stuff! 🙂
