Chicken with Broccoli and Cashew Nuts

These days I made Chicken Chess, and as I had a large amount of seasoned chicken breast, I tested two recipes to choose which one would become the video. I chose Chicken Xadrez because people asked me for this recipe a lot, but this Chicken with Broccoli and Cashews Don’t lose anything! I don’t know which one is tastier!

Here in Sorocaba there is a Chinese restaurant, Rubirai, which does this revenue, Of course, I reproduced it my way, since I don’t have the original recipe, but it was equally delicious! I thought I should register this option here for you too.

Ingredients:

  • 500g cubed chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup cashew nuts
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 small ninja broccoli, separated into florets

Sauce Ingredients:

  • 1 level tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 100 ml of water
  • 1/2 envelope of vegetable broth powder

* if you don’t want to use vegetable broth, season it your way or use homemade broth instead of water.

Season the chicken cubes 2 hours in advance. I used the seasoning that I already taught here, but you can season it however you want.

Cook the broccoli in salted water quickly, just to soften it a little, but still remain crunchy. Drain and reserve.

Saute the chicken with garlic in two tablespoons of oil, add the broccoli and cashew nuts.


Mix the sauce ingredients and pour over everything. Keep on low heat until the sauce thickens. Serve with white rice.

*Makes 4 servings.
