Chicken Sauce with Cream Cheese

This sauce is great with any type of pasta. If you have leftover rice, you can also mix it, cover it with parmesan and put it in the oven to make delicious baked rice.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken breast;
  • 1/2 chopped onion;
  • 2 cloves of chopped garlic;
  • 1 seedless tomato, chopped (if you don’t like the skin, you can remove it too);
  • 6 chopped green olives;
  • 1/3 cup chopped pepper (can be any color pepper);
  • 1 teaspoon (turmeric, which many people call saffron);
  • 1/3 cup chopped green chilli;
  • 1/2 cup of cream cheese;
  • 1/2 envelope of powdered chicken broth;
  • Salt and pepper to taste;
  • Enough milk to thin the sauce.

Sauté the onion in olive oil until wilted, add the garlic, stir for a few minutes, add the tomato, olives, pepper and keep on low heat until the tomato releases water and wilts. Add the chicken, turmeric, and chicken broth. Add the cream cheese, wait for it to melt and add milk until it reaches the desired consistency (thicker or thinner depending on your preference). Add salt and sprinkle black pepper. Add the green scent.

This amount is enough for 300g of pasta that serves 2 to 3 people.
