Another recipe from our dear partner that allowed me to use the new Elefante Sabores, which now has Onion and Garlic, Bay leaves and Fine Herbs versions. This recipe is a delicious creamy chicken pie! As it is made with ready-made puff pastry, it is super easy to prepare and the flavor is surprising! Write it down!
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 small onion chopped
1 boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into small cubes
1 can of Ervas Finas Elephant
1 tray of chopped Paris mushrooms
1 small box of cream
½ cup chopped green olives
¼ cup frozen peas
Salt, freshly ground black pepper or whatever seasonings you like
1 frozen puff pastry
1 egg yolk
Preparation Mode:
In a pan, heat the oil and brown the garlic and onion. Add the chicken cubes and sauté, stirring so that they brown evenly. Add the Elephant and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring to coat the chicken well.
Then add the mushrooms, cook for a few minutes and add the olives and peas. Finally, add the cream. Season with salt and pepper.
Turn off the heat, divide into 6 individual refractory dishes (about 9 cm in diameter) and set aside.
Line the bottoms of individual refractories with the dough, add the filling, which should already be cold, and cover with more dough. Brush with the egg yolk and place in a preheated medium oven (180°C) so that the dough becomes golden and crispy.
