Who has never run after a chupchup seller, (or dindin depending on the place) with some coins in hand and with the certainty that they would be able to buy it? After all, this ice cream is very democratic and everyone loves it! Who doesn’t have a good memory with friends or family all sucking on this ice cream?

The ease of the recipe allows for a multitude of flavors, from the creamiest ones like condensed milk, corn and cream to the “coldest” ones like lemon, tangerine and grape. There is an infinite number of flavors that ensure everyone has their favorite! That’s why it appeals to all ages!

My Gourmet Ice Cream Recipe

This recipe isn’t mine, it was given by Ana Maria Braga in the form of a popsicle and I kept it in my head. At the time I didn’t make it, but now with the heat I decided to test it, I changed the proportion a little and people, I have to say that it’s the BEST chocolate ice cream in the world!

Seriously, it’s really delicious! And contrary to what I imagined, it’s not too sweet or cloying! It’s super simple to make, but it only makes 5 so I suggest you double the recipe.

Ingredients

1 can of cream with whey;
200g of creamy dulce de leche;
2 heaped tablespoons of chocolate powder

Way of doing

Blend everything in a mixer or blender, place in bags or popsicle maker and place in the freezer until it hardens. I usually wait overnight so that it has a very firm consistency and, above all, can withstand being transported.

Tips to avoid making mistakes with the recipe

The chocolate used is the “Dois Frades” type from Nestlé, if you use chocolate like Nescau it can be too sweet so I recommend you “go low” on the sugar.
