Cheese Tart with Guava – Panelaterapia

Cheese Tart with Guava

Sweet cakes and pies

You know when you need a sweet treat and there’s nothing in the pantry that’s closer to it than guava paste? So, they say that in difficulties creativity emerges, right? Hahahaha. I invented this recipe in a moment of desperation and now I want to make it every day! It was super delicious!!!

I used disposable pie molds, but you can put them in whatever pots you want (as long as they can go in the oven) or even in a single container. Look how easy it is:

Chop 1 French bread into very small pieces (the smaller the better). It could be stale bread.

In another container mix:

  • 1 ovo;
  • 120 ml of natural yogurt (I used the homemade one that I taught here);
  • 3 tablespoons of condensed milk;
  • 1 tablespoon of grated parmesan (can be from a bag).

*Important: prefer more liquid yogurts, if it is very consistent, mix 1 tablespoon of yogurt and top up with milk until the 120ml suggested in the recipe.

Now mix the chopped bread into this cream and let it rest for 15 minutes. It will turn into bread porridge, like this:

Grease the molds with a little oil. And add the mixture until there is 1 or 2 cm left to the edge. Add small pieces of guava paste and bake at 200ºC until the surface starts to brown. In my oven it took about 15 minutes.
Makes 9 pie-sized pieces. Good thing, because if it made 40 you’d eat them all, believe me!
