Casa da Montanha: Hotel in Gramado

During my visit to Gramado, Serra Gaucha, to cover FESTURIS (Gramado Tourism Fair), I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Casa da Montanha. A super charming and cozy 5-star hotel, ideal for families and couples, and with an infrastructure that makes us feel like we are in a real mountain house. One of the highlights of this hotel in Gramado is its strategic location, right in the city center. In total there are 79 comfortable suites, which reflect a sophisticated alpine style, with decorative pieces collected from all over the world. In other words, a unique charm in each one! As I went at Christmas time, the hotel was decorated with Christmas decorations! A grace.

The leisure structure is independent of the weather, so you can enjoy facilities all year round, such as: thermal pool, whirlpool, dry and wet sauna, kids space, fitness. Everything covered to offer the maximum possible comfort. There is also a Spa L’Occitane in Brazil. Furthermore, for those who prefer outdoor activities, bicycles are available, as well as a charming carousel right at the entrance, which will delight the children!

Gastronomy

Breakfast is one of the hotel’s highlights. Guests can enjoy a selection of fresh, locally produced products in Serra Gaúcha, such as cheeses, sausages, breads and cakes made on the day! There are also gluten-free and lactose-free options, as well as a special menu of eggs prepared fresh in front of customers. Nothing like starting the day off right!

And for those who will enjoy the Christmas Light in Gramado, one of the biggest Christmas shows in Brazil, the visit becomes even more special and magical for hotel guests. Every year, they prepare a series of special attractions for the period. This year, the program runs until January 13, 2019, and includes the presence of Santa Claus (daily with the exception of Wednesdays), presentations by the characters “Boticários da Montanha”, which are playful characters from the village of “Feliz na Town ”, which spread the Christmas spirit through songs and stories.

Certainly my stay at Casa da Montanha could not have been better. The service and cordiality of the entire staff also made all the difference! I felt at home and I highly recommend it to anyone who is planning a trip or planning to go to Gramado.
