Unlike Carmel Cumbuco, which is more suitable for families, Carmel Charme is aimed at couples. Therefore, it is ideal for you to plan a romantic trip. Although children are allowed, you will rarely see them at the hotel.
Gastronomy
The hotel’s cuisine is also worth highlighting. When traveling to the Northeast, seafood is certainly always the best option, however the menu is very eclectic and pleases all palates. The breakfast restaurant has a more than special location, facing the beach, and operates on a buffet basis. The other restaurant offers views of the pool and the beach in the background, depending on where you choose to sit, and is always à la carte.

Fish, shrimp or lobster? It has everything! The dish I liked most were the ones with shrimp, which can serve up to two people, and are literally delicious. I tried several different dishes during my stay, and they were all great!

I traveled there during a long holiday and even though the hotel was practically full I didn’t mind. There was always space in the pool and the restaurant was reasonably busy, with quick service. Therefore, this is a very positive point, as some hotels are unable to serve guests well on busy days.
Conclusion
I loved this luxury hotel near Fortaleza. I ended up not getting out of it for almost anything, going all the way to the beach. Furthermore, I took a dune buggy ride, and it was perfect for the purpose of relaxing, replenishing energy, getting a tan and also not worrying about anything. If you have more days, it’s worth doing like me, and splitting your stay between Carmel Cumbuco and Carmel Charme. Start the trip at the Cumbuco unit and then take a upgrade to the Aquiraz unit, a luxury hotel near Fortaleza. The trip will certainly be more interesting and you will therefore enjoy perfect sunny and warm days in two excellent hotels.
