Lucas Guimarães, married to Carlinhos Maia since May 2019, recently told about an affair that was not known to his followers. There have been times when people have said that they would rather have a son in a coffin than a gay son. I grew up hearing this from my family, educating myself that way. So it was something that I thought like: ‘God, forbid me’. I was afraid of being kicked out of the house. But then I started to think that I should teach them with love.”
When he met Carlinhos, in the city of Penedo, in Alagoas, Lucas was still dating women. However, little by little, the two grew closer, until one day they decided to stay together.
