I never know if it’s caramelized or caramelized, I think it’s the same thing. Guys, this is a 5 minute dessert. Easy to do!!! But caramel is that thing, right? There are people who don’t even make promises! I’ll try to explain it in detail so everyone can do it, because you deserve to try this deliciousness!
Quantity for 2 servings:
- Boil 1/2 cup (100ml) of water and keep it next to the frying pan in which you will prepare the bananas.
- Heat 4 tablespoons of sugar in a frying pan over low heat. The sugar must be well spread out because if you leave a “mound” in the center it will take time to melt and burn. Don’t keep stirring, let it melt naturally.
- When the sugar is almost completely melted, add 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter and the boiling water. It’s normal for the sugar to clump a little at this time, but just keep it on low heat and it will melt again.
- Along with the water I added 1 tablespoon of banana liqueur that I brought from Blumenau, but you can use rum, brandy or no drink at all.
- When it is in syrup form again, add the bananas. I used 2 small bananas cut in half, but you can cut them into slices.
- Don’t overcook to avoid melting the bananas. Leave it on heat for 1 minute and turn it off.
- Serve with ice cream, whipped cream or cream.
Obs: You can store the syrup in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. To make a larger quantity, just double all the ingredients.
Those who have the skills to flambé can order candy that will be delicious! I didn’t flambe because I used a small amount of alcohol.
