Candy Pavé – Panelaterapia

Candy Pavé

Sweet cakes and pies

You know that dessert that you make quickly and everyone who eats it loves it? So, this Sonho de Valsa candy pavé is like this. It’s delicious!
You can replace Sonho de Valsa with another candy you like, chopped Bis, Kinder Bueno, Ferrero Rocher, even sprinkles or chopped chocolate bars, it’s always good!

Ingredients:
1 can of condensed milk
1 tablespoon of cornstarch dissolved in 60 ml of milk
2 egg yolks, sifted
1 box of 200g of cream
8 chopped waltz dream chocolates
1 package of chocolate-flavored biscuits without filling (approximately 120g)
1 cup. (tea) of milk (to moisten the cookies when assembling).

Heat the condensed milk, the cornstarch dissolved in the milk, the egg yolks and mix until it starts to boil. Add the cream and stir until it boils again and thickens.
Remove from the heat, transfer the cream to a container and beat manually (with a whisk) to make it very smooth. Leave to cool at room temperature.
If you think the cream has thickened too much, add a little milk (off the heat) and beat with a whisk until it reaches the consistency of firm cream.

Make layers by interspersing the chocolate biscuit dipped in milk and the cream.
Finish with a layer of cream and chopped chocolates on top.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (I like to leave it overnight).
My suggestion is to add the chocolates before serving to maintain their crunchiness. If you keep the chocolates in the fridge for up to 5 hours, they will still be crunchy, but then they will start to wilt, so it’s best to put them right away.

This recipe makes about 6 portions and a small refractory measuring 12cm x 24cm (inner part), so if you want, you can double the recipe.
