I saw this recipe on Rachel’s blog and couldn’t stop until I made it. It’s very simple, you can use up all the leftover cold cuts that are left in the fridge and it’s delicious!!!

As I made some modifications, I will describe my step-by-step process:

I greased a refractory with olive oil. I cut into cubes some whole grain bread (French type) that was already stale and spread it on the bottom of the ovenproof dish. I covered it with a drizzle of olive oil and oregano.

I beat 4 eggs with a fork, mixed a cup of milk, a pinch of salt and pepper. I poured half of the mixture over the bread. I spread cubes of buffalo mozzarella, turkey breast, chopped seedless tomatoes, olives and basil leaves. I covered it with the other half of the eggs and milk and put it in the preheated oven until it browned and looked like a pie. Loved it! More practical thing, right?!
