Blurred Lips: blurred lips are becoming fashionable

Fashion

The “blurred lips” technique, the famous blurred lips, has already invaded the catwalks of the main fashion shows around the world.

And that’s how the fashion went viral.

You might be wondering, “Blurred lips?”

Don’t be surprised!

The technique gives a cool look to the production and proposes, exactly, escaping perfection, in that “I did it alone and quickly” style, you know?

This perfection has been a requirement for makeup for some time now.

Lip contouring and concealer are dispensed with in the new technique.

The lipstick appears very smoothly, without markings, very “smoky” at the edges.

How to make blurred lips?

There are 4 ways to do it:

  • Basic blurred lips;
  • Blurred lips com gloss;
  • Blurred lips opaco;
  • Blurred lips com cores;

1 – Basic blurred lips

This is the simplest technique to achieve the effect.

You will need:

  • 1 lipstick (color of your choice);
  • Foundation that you normally use;
  • Brush or cotton swab to blend.

How to make:

Apply a thin layer of foundation to your lips, this will make it easier to blend.

Apply lipstick only to the center of your lips, top and bottom, making sure to leave the edges free of lipstick.

Then, with the brush, blend the lipstick from the center to the sides.

If you prefer, when blending, you can use your fingers or even a cotton swab, tapping lightly, moving the lipstick from the center to the edge of the lips.

The idea is to go a little beyond the natural lip line.

2 – Blurred lips com gloss

You will need:

  • 1 Lipstick (color of your preference);
  • 1 gloss (give preference to colorless);
  • Foundation that you normally use;
  • 2 cotton swabs;

How to make:

As done in the first item, apply a thin layer of foundation to your lips, this will make it easier to blend.

Apply lipstick only to the center of your lips, top and bottom, making sure to leave the edges free of lipstick.

Once done, apply the gloss all over the lip, up to the edges.

With the cotton swab or your fingers, blend the lipstick from the center to the sides, in the same way as in the item above.

Remember, the idea is to go a little beyond the natural line of the lips and, in this case, the gloss will also go a little further, making the “blurred” look brighter.

3 – Blurred lips opaco

You will need:

  • 1 Lipstick (color of your preference);
  • Foundation that you normally use;
  • Brush or cotton swab for blending;
  • Powder, which you normally use.

How to make:

As done in the previous items, apply a thin layer of foundation to your lips, this will make it easier to blend.

Apply lipstick only to the center of your lips, top and bottom, making sure to leave the edges free of lipstick.

Then, with a brush or cotton swab, blend the lipstick from the center to the sides, going a little beyond the natural lip line.

Then, apply the powder over the lipstick, this will give it an opaque appearance.

4 – Blurred lips com cores

This technique is the most “complicated” and takes the longest.

Let’s go…

You will need:

  • 2 Lipsticks, of your preference, one lighter and one darker;
  • Foundation that you normally use;
  • Brush or cotton swab for blending;

How to make:

First, apply the lighter lipstick, just in the middle of your lips;

Then, over the light lipstick, apply the darker lipstick.

The tip here is to apply the dark lipstick only in the center of the light lipstick, allowing the lighter tone to still appear.

Once done, use a brush or cotton swab to blend the lipstick, lighter first, from the center to the sides.

Then, with another cotton swab, blend the darker lipstick, always allowing the lighter lipstick to stand out.

This technique will give your lips two tones, one lighter on the edges and the other darker in the center.

Remember if:

The technique has no rules, so use your creativity and make any adaptations you want.

As mentioned at the beginning of the post, it is a very simple technique, giving the impression that it was done in a hurry.
