Bisnaguinha’s Dream – Panelaterapia

Bisnaguinha’s Dream

Sweet cakes and pies

When Flávia, Julinha’s mother, my goddaughter said that she ate one dream Delicious made with small biscuits (those packets that we buy at the supermarket) I wanted to run out of the pizzeria and go home to make it hahahaha.

People, how wonderful revenue!!! You owe nothing to the traditional dream and you skip that step of having to prepare the dough, knead it, let it rise, etc., etc.

First you do the creme which goes in the middle so it can cool down while it prepares the rest. Check the ingredients (you can fill about 20 units):

  • 3 excited
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 350 ml of milk
  • 6 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter or margarine
  • 2 spoons (coffee) of vanilla essence

Mix the egg yolks (preferably without the skin) with the cornstarch and a little milk (just to help dissolve the starch). Mix well and set aside. A whisk (wire whisk) helps a lot in this step.

Bring the rest of the milk, sugar and butter to a boil. When it boils, turn it off and add the egg yolk mixture, mix well. Now turn the heat back on low and stir until it thickens. Off the heat, add the vanilla.

Let it cool (refrigerator or freezer) for the next step.

With the cold cream, fry the biscuits one by one. Due to its shape, it tends to swirl in the oil and you will need a slotted spoon to sink it and fry it evenly, so it has to be done one by one. The oil cannot be too hot otherwise it will turn black quickly.

Drain the tubes on paper towel and roll in icing sugar (you can also use regular sugar). Cut in half and fill with cream!

Before you start asking if it can be baked, made in the airfryer, etc. I’ll tell you: it will turn into toast that won’t look anything like a dream, so if you want a light recipe you’d better find another one, this isn’t the one. proper. It’s like roasting coxinha, manja? I’d rather eat 1 coxinha a year but have it fried than eat one baked every day, but that’s just my opinion.

And guys, this is really good!!!!
