Banana Brigadeiro with Cinnamon

Sweet cakes and pies

Guys, this blog is going to become banana therapy soon! I’m addicted to banana recipes hahahaha… I really love this fruit!!! Then I looked at the condensed milk and the bananas and “wow”, an incredible brigadeiro came out!!!! Look how easy:

Bring to the boil 1 can of condensed milk, 2 mashed very ripe bananas (any banana) and 1 dessert spoon of unsalted butter.

Stir over low heat until it starts to boil. After it boils, continue stirring (on minimum heat) for another 10 minutes, until it thickens well.

Place the brigadeiro in a container greased with butter and place in the refrigerator. The ideal is to leave it there for about 4 hours, to make it very hard.

To make the balls, wet your hands, this will prevent them from sticking. Roll the balls in cinnamon and place in molds. I had cinnamon mixed with sugar at home and that’s what I used, but I think cinnamon alone would be better. In any case, it was delicious!!!

As it is a more delicate brigadeiro, due to the fruit, I suggest keeping it in the fridge and only taking it out when ready to serve.

And to make a good brigadeiro you have to stir constantly, very quickly and with the right utensil, a regular spoon doesn’t work, the ideal is a silicone spatula. Makes 35 to 50 brigadeiros depending on the size.
