Firstly, essences can be extracted using two methods: solar and boiling. When the solar method is used, the flowers are exposed in a glass of mineral water for three hours. By boiling, the flowers are boiled in a pan of water for half an hour.

After extraction, the essences are diluted and receive x amount of grain alcohol, brandy or cognac, or even glycerin.
