Starting tomorrow, the 29th, the ArtRio 2016 at Pier Mauá. Until October 2nd, warehouses 2,3 and 4 will receive the sixth edition of Rio de Janeiro International Art Fair. The event aims to reinforce the importance of the until in Brazil and around the world.

There are 73 art galleries modern and contemporary, divided into two exhibitions: PANORAMA and VISTA. This year, 19 are participating in the fair for the first time, 11 of whom were Brazilian. The other 8 are from Argentina, Germany and the United States.

Some artists present at ArtRio
The photographer from São Paulo will exhibit his work “Caminhos”, a polyptych with six black and white photographs, with inkjet printing on cotton paper.

The artist from Rio will present a set of works in two situations, “Planos-Pipa” and “Multiedros”. In the first, several kites are piled up one by one forming a grouping in which each element has its place previously studied.
The artist, winner of the Rumos Program 2016, exhibits two of his works at ArtRio. One of them is part of the “Studies on empathy” series, a kinetic wooden sculpture, activated by a presence detector.
