Another recipe I make for my daughter Lis. She has been eating this since she was 6 months old (she is 8 months old now). I freeze portions in small containers. Then I let it thaw in the fridge overnight. Sometimes, when it’s hotter, she eats it still half-frozen, like ice cream. She loves!

Ingredients:

– 4 chopped dried plums;
– 100 ml of lime orange juice;
– 1 chopped apple without peel;
– 1 pinch of cinnamon.

I chop the plums very small because they cook much faster. I first cook the plums in their juice. When they are breaking apart the apples and cinnamon. I leave it on very low heat until the apples soften a little. I mix everything with the mixer.

Although apples tend to tighten the intestines a bit, plums are great for loosening them. I give this baby food when Lis’s intestines are lazier and it works very well. If your baby is very constipated, replace the apple with banana, which works even better.

I take the quantity of each portion as a measure from that jar of industrialized danoninho, the smaller one. That’s more or less what she consumes at a time.
One recipe yields approximately 3 servings (depends on the size of the apple).
This baby food lasts for 2 months frozen.
