Apple, Banana and Cinnamon Cake

Sweet cakes and pies

A very fragrant cake, the kind that we can’t wait to take out of the oven, do you know how? The good thing is that it doesn’t get as many dishes dirty and you can mix it manually. Easy!

Ingredients (use 200ml measuring cup):

  • 1 cup of milk mixed with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (let it rest for 10 minutes);
  • 2 eggs;
  • 100 ml of oil;
  • 1 and 1/2 cup of wheat flour;
  • 1 cup of sugar;
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder;
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder;
  • 1 chopped apple without peel;
  • 1 chopped banana.

Mix the ingredients in the order above, I use a wire whisk, but if you want you can use a blender (just don’t blend the fruits, just mix at the end).

Bake in a preheated oven at 200º, in a greased and floured pan. In my oven it baked in 50 minutes, but this time can vary a lot depending on the brand and model of the oven, so always do the toothpick test, insert a toothpick into the center of the cake, if it comes out clean the cake is baked, but just open the oven after 30 minutes, so that it doesn’t wilt. Try serving with Greek yogurt. It matches too much!!!!!!

Comments:

  • In this recipe you can use just apples (2 units) or just bananas (2 to 3 units).
  • If you want, you can replace the sugar with powdered sweetener suitable for the oven and stove. This sweetener is proportional to sugar, so just change it for the same amount.
