With more than 60 years of history, Alvaro’s, a classic restaurant in Leblon, has a new look! After two months of work, the old wooden doors and dark walls gave way to a more modern and bright environment, with glass doors. The house, on the corner of Ataulfo de Paiva and Cupertino Durão, has tables on the sidewalk, which has everything to do with Rio, ideal for a post-beach meal with cold draft beer and dishes to share. But, of course, like a good classic, in this revamp some of the house’s flagships had to be kept on the menu, while other recipes were adapted. The drinks menu, created by mixologist Raysley Cler, from Zazá Bistrô, is very interesting with signature and classic options.
