Pepperoni and Cheese Puff

Snacks

I always have a roll of puff pastry in the freezer. I think it’s one of the most practical things anyone has ever invented! Not to mention that everything we make with puff pastry turns out beautiful, looking like those recipes that took a lot of work to make, you know?
I did a search on Instagram and saw that more than 80% of people don’t have the habit of buying puff pastry because they don’t know how to use it. I will help you with this task.

Many people say they can’t find puff pastry for sale in supermarkets. Maybe you passed by it and didn’t see it. It’s usually on those frozen product counters, since it comes frozen.

This text is not sponsored but I will mention the brand I use because it serves me very well, it is Arosa. The packaging says Frozen Puff Pastry and be careful to buy the “rolled” one, which is ready to use. It comes in roll format, like pastry dough. See below:

Introductions done, let’s get to the recipe. For the filling I put in the processor:
1 goat gum;
1 seedless tomato;
1/4 of a small onion;
1 tablespoon of green scent.
Process everything and you’re ready.

To make the puffs, just cut squares of dough, add a piece of cheese (I used mozzarella), a little of the filling and close by joining the 4 corners of the square in the center and then the sides. The dough has a very good texture, I didn’t even use water or eggs to seal it, I just needed to press it with my fingertips.

It browns nicely in the oven, without the need to brush on the egg yolk.
Preheat oven to 200ºC for approximately 15 minutes or until golden. Did you see how easy it was?
