Once again, I adapted the recipe for the famous blender pie to create a small pie that would fit into the English cake pan, which is 25cm x 12cm.
I had some leftover braised chicken at home (about 1 cup) left over from this recipe –> here and I froze it, but you can make it with tuna, sardines, cold cuts, vegetables, whatever you want.
I made a dough using a wire whisk (but you can use a blender if you want). I just mixed:
- 2 eggs
- 50ml olive oil
- 100 ml of milk
- 1 cup of wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- garlic powder and dried herbs of your choice (optional)
Mix everything, place in a greased and floured pan, spread the sautéed chicken on top (I added some chopped olives too) and bake in a preheated oven at 200° until cooked. Do the toothpick test, insert a toothpick into the center of the pie, if it comes out clean it is baked.
