This cake is an excellent alternative for those who have dietary restrictions or do not consume animal products. It looks beautiful, grows beautifully, super cute and very easy to make.
For mass:
1 and 1/2 cup (tea) wheat flour
1 cup (tea) sugar
3/4 tablespoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup (tea) of oil
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
2 teaspoons of white vinegar
1 cup (tea) of warm water
1/2 cup cocoa powder (I used Dois Frades)
Heat the oven to 200º. Grease a mold with oil and sprinkle chocolate powder.
Sift the flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Mix the warm water, chocolate, vanilla and oil separately. Add the liquids to the dry ones and mix well. If you prefer, you can use a mixer, I used a manual wire whisk.
Finally add the vinegar and mix well. At this point the mixture will start to foam a little, it’s because of the chemical reaction, it’s normal. Mix and bake for about 35 minutes.
Remove from the oven, pierce the surface with a fork and cover with the syrup.
I used a recipe I already gave –> here. For those who can’t consume milk, just swap it for soy milk, remove the butter or margarine and add a teaspoon of cornstarch.
